Cape

In Aether, players can equip capes to adorn their backs. Of the 18 available capes, only three serve a practical purpose, the rest are purely decorative.

Agility Cape, Swet Cape and Invisibility Cloak

Agility cape increases the player agility allowing him to scale one block high walls without jumping. This effect is useful for traversing the Aether due to its jagged terrain. The Invisibility cloak give the player Invisibility and the Swet cape gives Swetty. Both capes are useful tool for combat and traversal. All three capes can only be obtain as loot from the dungeon chest of the 3 dungeons. The Swet Cape can be obtained from the Maze Treasure Chest at 19.6%, while the Agility Cape and the Invisibility Cloak are found in the Temple at 4.11% and the Sanctuary at 9.13%, respectively.

Developer Cape

Players who contributed to the port of this legendary mod to BTA, whether through texturing, modeling, or coding, were rewarded with a special cape. As of December 25th 2025 these player have been awarded the cape:
